VIDEO EDITS
These are some of my best video edits and video productions.
“Editing/Animation Demo Reel” (2022)
This one-and-a-half-minute demo reel was made to showcase just some of what I’m capable of.
“In The Groove – Intro” (2022)
This is the intro for the capstone project I recently completed, “In The Groove”. It’s an hour-long documentary and analysis over the music that Hoyt Curtin and Ted Nichols composed for Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
“The Music of Hanna-Barbera’s TV Years – In The Groove” (2022)
This is the entire hour-long documentary that I mentioned above. Rather than upload the entire thing here, I’ve embedded the YouTube upload. I am very proud of this production.
“CartoonCade Productions – The 3-Minute Promo” (2021)
This was a 3-minute promo made for one of my classes that revolved around a company that we created for the course. I used a mix of animation, live-action, and preexisting content. I’m very happy with how it turned out.
“MSU2Nite – The Reviews Are In Promo” (2021)
This was the first promo created for “MSU2Nite”, and after only 2 episodes’ worth of content, I’m proud with the direction I was able to take it, as well as the sound bytes and footage I was able to use.
“MSU2Nite – Out of Context Promo” (2021)
This promo was a fun one to work on, and again was created using preexisting material from “MSU2Nite”. The promo itself was of my own design.
“MSU2Nite – Bloopers and Oopsies Promo” (2021)
This promo was made for the 9th episode of the season of “MSU2Nite” that I was a part of. It follows a similar structure to the “Out-of-Context Promo”.
“MSU2Nite Final Episode Promo – Side-by-Side Version” (2006/2021)
This video showcases the efforts I went through in order to recreate a 2006 promo for another Murray State series, “Racer Patrol/MSU Patrol”. My recreation was a promo for the final episode of “MSU2Nite”, and this side-by-side version shows just how close I got to the original. The left and right audio channels also correspond to the video on-screen.
“MSU2Nite – Big TV Events Promo” (2021)
This promo was created as a way to insinuate that “MSU2Nite” was one of the big TV events in history… which didn’t turn out to be the case, but hey – it was fun to make!
AUDIO/MUSIC EDITS
These are some of my best audio and music edits. I suggest using headphones for these.
“SYFR-FM” (2021) – Audio and Sound Editing
This short film was produced in two weeks as a challenge by the Murray State University TV Club. I served as the sound recorder and editor for this project, and I feel that I did some pretty good work on it despite it not being perfect.
Hoyt Curtin – “T-50, Take 2”
The original version of “T-50, Take 2”.My edited version, as heard in the credits of the Spring 2021 season of “MSU2Nite”.
Raymond Scott – “Powerhouse”
The original version (albeit a modern-day re-recording) of “Powerhouse”.My edited version.
Black Oak Arkansas – “Everybody Wants To See Heaven (Nobody Wants To Die)”
The original version of “Everybody Wants To See Heaven (Nobody Wants To Die)”.My edited version.
Redvers Kyle – “Busy Bachelor”
The original version of “Busy Bachelor”.My edited version.
Don Ralke and Ray Pohlman – “Gettin’ It Together”
The original version of “Gettin’ It Together”.My edited version.
